Cosmetic Dermatology
Dr. Gunn has practiced cosmetic dermatology for 13 years and in three cities during her husband’s continued training in general surgery residency, plastic surgery fellowship, and private practice. In Pennsylvania, she quickly became a rising star in cosmetic treatments. When her husband moved the family to Louisville, she started a dermatology department for a hospital system in the greater Cincinnati area. She was awarded Top Doctor in Cincinnati for dermatology in her second year of practice in the area. UAB then recruited her to start a Cosmetic Center within UAB's Dermatology Department.
Dr. Gunn has a passion for cosmetic treatments. Her mother is an artist, and her father is an engineer. Both science and creativity allow Dr. Gunn to be innovative in cosmetic techniques for a more natural and sustainable youthful appearance.
